The rapper received Hollywood Unlocked’s 2024 Inspiration Award at the June 21 awards.
Cardi B knows how to make a red carpet impact.
The rapper, 31, outdid herself in the style department when she arrived at the Friday, June 21 Hollywood Impact Awards in a chic all-black look that oozed understated glamor.
Sporting a knee-skimming oversized black blazer by The Row and a sheer floor-length David Koma skirt (both of which are available to shop on FWRD), Cardi added sheer black gloves, strappy black heels, a stunning diamond necklace and several diamond-encrusted rings to complete her outfit.
The rapper is known for switching up her glam and the June 21 awards were no exception, as she opted for long, straight locks and elegant bangs swept slightly to one side. Keeping her makeup simple and effective, just like her outfit, Cardi wore deep red lipstick and a subtle smokey eye for the event.
She does, after all, love coordinating all parts of her glam. “The makeup makes the outfit!” she told PEOPLE in May in celebration of NYX Professional Makeup’s 25th anniversary.

The rapper recently hit the carpet in a particularly memorable look at the Met Gala on May 6.
While the Grammy winner and mom, styled by Kollin Carter, was undoubtedly one of the best dressed stars of the night in her sprawling Sensen Lii gown, she still received some backlash from the internet for blanking on the Chinese designer’s name at the time (however, she quickly clarified why after the moment went viral on social media).
Wearing a showstopping dress didn’t keep her from rocking another look at her Met Gala afterparty with Revolve and FWRD either. She stripped down to a custom red Revolve Atelier corset dress inspired by “runway corsetry and draping.” It’s an outfit change you have to see to believe.
