John Cena‘s next vacation will be his first one.
Cena, 41, appears on Monday’s edition of Ellen, and opens up about the unrelenting work schedule he’s maintained nearly 18 years, from his time with WWE, to in front of the Hollywood cameras. ‘I haven’t taken a vacation, ever,’ said Cena, who’s been living in London since June shooting Furious 9. ‘There was a few times I could take two days off my work and I would still be kind of jonseing to go back to work.’

The West Newbury, Massachusetts native said he resists taking time off to make the most of the privileges afforded him in his successful show business and wrestling careers.
‘I love what I do, and it’s a weird opportunity where it shouldn’t necessarily happen – I don’t know how to tell you this, but I play fight with people for a living – so that shouldn’t be a job,’ he said, ‘so I really enjoy it and I love what I do and I just know that its gonna end at some point, so I kind of want to enjoy it all.’
